After doing some research and watching a few videos, I decided to get these and give it a try. I primed, installed and torqued these as described in the videos. On first startup I thought I was going to have to call Scotty in the engine room and have the core ejected :) . After a few seconds, the noise stopped and has not returned since. Subsequent cold startups have absolutely no noise what so ever. I consider this preventive maintenance and not a fix for a damaged timing chain assembly. I have included a picture of the box indicating these are made in Italy and are not some Chinese knock off. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars It works. Made in Italy. And it primes. *by R***O on Reviewed in the United States on December 24, 2019* As many of you may know, priming the tensioner is critical before installing it. Cheaper knockoff ones won't prime. This one does. Its a 27mm socket, 1 1/16 works as well. Do not use a 12 point socket. Also, make sure the engine is at TDC before removing. The sudden slack in chain can cause the cam to settle, then you have a whole other problem.
