Dr. Frederick's Original Gel Toe Tubes Variety Pack, 12 ct

Soft, perfect fit, does exactly what it's supposed to do. I'm a satisfied customer.

They are soft and definitely give some padding for your toes should you have problems, as I do, with toe pain when standing in my shoes for several hours at work. The issue, though, is that I am older and have to wear compression socks to keep my feet/ankles/calves from swelling while on my feet for hours. Trying to put compression socks on over these soft and flexible tubes is impossible. What I have taken to doing is using an athletic tape to tape both of my big toes, then add the soft, silicone tubes over the tape, again, I then use the tape to cover the silicone tubes so they stay in place when I pull the compression sock on over my toes. These little tubes help stave off much of the toe pain I had at the end of my shift, but it took more than just putting them on!

First one should know that I bought these for my fingers and toes. I crochet a lot and get sore skin so I've tried many things to relieve the blister-type feelings or to cover dry skin that gets caught on fussy yarn. After trying 5 different types of products, these are my favorite. I like the variety of sizes and finally something fits both my thumb and my fingers even though they are meant for toes. They are so SOFT, pliable and do not restrict my ability to do a variety of things with my thumb and fingers once they are on. I even forget I'm wearing them. The same can be said for the toes. The only thing I wish it had was ventilation because after about an hour, my fingers wrinkled from a lack of air. Because I forgot it was on my toe, I wore it too long (12 hours) and that cause slight soreness for a few minutes. I would buy again and recommend them.

Less expensive, gives better coverage, stays in place, and is reusable. I just rinse it out at night and put it on my enormous toe blister the next morning. When the blister breaks, I use a little iodine, put on this toe gel tube, socks & shoes, and have absolutely no discomfort throughout the day, and I do a lot of walking.

A little thicker than I would have liked but does the job

I had originally purchased some that went over your whole toe area or the whole ball of your foot but they were too big and bulky and then I couldn't get my shoe on. These work so much better. They get right to the spot and don't take up much room. I hardly even know they are there. Wore them all day and they didn't slide off or move around. It would be helpful if there were more of the smaller sizes in the mix. I have long thin toes and most of the bigger ones I won't be able to wear. Also if there was some way to make them clear so they didn't show. I can't wear them with most sandals although I did cut a few of them across so I could wear them with some of my sandals.

I was excited to try these as I often get blisters when I run. While they are comfortable upon initially putting them on, they did not remain comfortable. One, they kept rolling down when I put on my athletic socks and I had to readjust them several times. I could have ignored this minor detail if they had worked out; and two, while they may be useful for walking they are not for light jogging. My toes felt like they were on fire with them on. I do not know if it was due to the material or simply because they are not breathable. Whatever the case, I couldn't wait to take them off. I really wanted to them to work out but unfortunately the product was not good for me.

I was really disappointed with this product for these reasons: I do a lot of walking, and like many people, my feet suffer from 60 years of concrete under my feet. These have kind of an oily feel. And the worst thing is that they curl up and make a clump inside the shoes. Then they are very uncomfortable, and no one wants to stop and untie shoes and take off socks while walking. I do not recommend for active use.

Woww, se avessi saputo della loro esistenza non avrei consumato tanti cerotti.. per di più inutili perché il problema non lo risolvevo ed ho voluto aspettare per recensire il prodotto solo dopo averli usati per più giorni. Per il mio problema ho provato di tutto.. cerotti, ovatta, estetista..nulla ha mai risolto, ora devo ringraziare Dr Frederick ... Il pacchettino è arrivato nei tempi stabiliti ma, non avevo dubbi.. adoro Amazon per la sua precisione. Nel pacco ho trovato sei confezioni da due ed in varie misure, ogni coppia di fascetta in una bustina di plastica. Sono tutte adattabili ad ogni dita dei piedi perché hanno grandezze diverse, sono in gel trasparenti e molto morbide al tatto.
