But results showed up last week so I didn’t mention it before because I had to give it some time. Also, the first time I used it on my face, it wasn’t helpful. It was to use with adapalene and retinol/retinal. But my skin barrier was a too sensitive and damaged when I first tried it, that even with this cream, my skin got worse. Barrier was bad and skin was inflamed and dried. Fast forward to now. I let my skin barrier repair. Switched to gentle hydrating face washes that I recently reviewed if you’re interested(not sure if I can mention them in this review), which was the best change in helping repair my barrier. And now when I use retinol/retinal and adapalene, my skin is starting to not only look better, it’s not irritated like it was before because this cream is protecting my skin. So now I’m able to do a review and say, yes this helps with my face and to hydrate against harsh actives. My skin is sensitive and normally combination type, but can easily switch to being dry when using actives. And it’s acne prone. Hope this helps.
