love this product, it will not totally blackout the spot lights however it will dim them at 80% so they don't bother you or create any light source at night, the lights will be barley visible from far but you can see it when you are close to the devise to at least recognize it is on when checking on it. worth the buy, and if u want a total blackout then just stick 2 on top of each other :)

I was a bit leery of ordering because quite a few people panned this product. This is advertised as light blocking, and that's what it does. I am quite satisfied because my unbelievably bright microwave light is now dimmed to a comfortable glow that I can still read. I did need two layers for the microwave because it is so bright, but my printer and PVR needed only one. This is not a blackout cover (use black tape, as someone else suggested, if you want total darkness) so don't expect that. It was easy to apply and peeled off easily so I could readjust it. Thus far it hasn't fallen off, and I don't see that it will.

These stickers work so well! I have an AC window unit that has lights to indicate the temperature and a couple other things. The lights basically light up the whole room. These stickers dimmed the light by at least 50%. I can finally get some sleep! And the shapes fit perfectly. There are so many to choose from. There is even a whole sheet that you could probably cut out any shape you needed.
