I decided to opt for a 5 pound extinguisher since the smaller 2 pound ones will do little to prevent a blaze if you're able to access it in the first place. I'd been in one car that caught ablaze and the Good Samaritan that tried to help couldn't do much with their smaller extinguisher. I think the car and myself would have suffered less if they'd had something like a 5 pound unit on hand, and that's why I decided to get one for myself. Granted, I really don't want to be in a situation where I would need to use the extinguisher in the first place, but it's good to know I have one and that it's secured in place while traveling.

A: I came looking for the same answer. Looking at other responses though, they say the extinguishers are 4.5" and our 5# CO2 tanks are 5.5".

A: This particular holder was not big enough for my extinguisher.  I had to return it.

**Q: will this bracket fit the pro series 210 4lb unit, it has a diameter of 4.500**
A: My Pro 340 is 4.5 inches in diameter and the bracket fits perfectly. Your pro 210 appears to be the same canister as my 340. I believe the bracket will work just as well for your fire extinguisher.

Nice product. But does not fit Kiddie 5bc mar5 P/N 2103088B, the Collar is not wide enough. Since I'm using on a salt water boat I did not want to modify the collar and remove the protective coating.
