A nice change to the regular pushup. A good way to activate the stabilizing muscles in your arms and chest. Durable and recommended.

The chief advantage of using these is that they allow a deeper push-up than with your hands on the floor. The secondary advantage is easing tension on the wrists by allowing your arms to find their own best angle of approach to the push-up. While they can be made to rotate, they do not do so very freely, so don't look to them for that feature.They are sturdy and surprisingly light, well suited to travel. The handles could be softer but do provide a secure non-slip grip.In short, they are effective for their designed purpose - especially at this low price.

When I saw these listed, I knew they would be perfect for me. They are sturdy, well-designed and light. They can be easily dismantled and reassembled into a portable package (curved discs on the outside). You can use them with or without the green curved bases. The green bases are easy to remove. I prefer to use them with the bases. When used with the bases, the angle of the handles is constantly changing (in relation to the floor) as you are rising and lowering. This enables the wrist angle to stay constant. Some push-up bars have flat bottoms. I find it easier to use these than bars with flat bottoms. Incidentally, I am not particularly strong and my wrists are rather weak.
