I have tried so many different types of gel socks, cooling creams etc, gel packs that you keep in the freezer, they get warm fast. I got these in the mail and immediately put them in the freezer. Put them on at bedtime (which is usually when my feet get hot, red, and swollen) I felt immediate relief. I left them on for 6 min and my feet are back to normal feeling. I struggle nightly with hot feet, I can’t believe I found a fix!!

**Q: Has anyone tried this who has Gout?  Seems it would be too painful to put on or wear this boot with Gout?**
A: It stunk upon arrival. I put a container of coffee beans in it for a few days and the smell went away. It was too much for me - ankle debridement to have the whole foot iced. Too cold for me. They were very good about returns.

**Q: Do you get a pair?**
A: No you get one boot. So if you want a pair you have to buy two.

**Q: Can I leave it in the freezer till I use it daily?**
A: I do. I keep it in the freezer till I use it and put it right back in the freezer when I am done.

**Q: It says it fits women 5-11 and mens 5-9 is that right because I’m looking for one that fits a size 12 mens.**
A: This probably wouldn’t fit a size mens 12. They do have larger sizes available.

Helped after a foot surgery. Helped keep the swelling down, especially before going to sleep. Very cold and circumferential coverage, just what you need for effective edema control. I have a narrow foot (before swelling), and it was a little tight. Wider feet/ankles may have a tougher time, so a 4 out of 5 for that reason
