Review: Works great, and does what I need. I have bought three so far and all are good - I'm using this to drive a large hub motor. Initially I had issues with cogging and detecting the hall sensors, but when I got all of the parameters correct - it worked great. It is programmable from the VESC tool, which recognizes it immediately and through which you can dial in all of the settings. Getting the initial configuration correct can be a challenge, but that isn't a knock on this product - just the nature of brushless motors. The quality is good, the performance is good although I am not pushing it in any way. Overall I would recommend this speed control.

I'm using this to drive a large hub motor. Initially I had issues with cogging and detecting the hall sensors, but when I got all of the parameters correct - it worked great. It is programmable from the VESC tool, which recognizes it immediately and through which you can dial in all of the settings. Getting the initial configuration correct can be a challenge, but that isn't a knock on this product - just the nature of brushless motors. The quality is good, the performance is good although I am not pushing it in any way. Overall I would recommend this speed control.

Be careful ordering this and make sure you know return policy as the tech support is non existent/ in mandarin. I’ve gone back and forth with them via email which takes painfully long and after weeks of discourse, ordered totally the wrong stuff and could not use to upgrade my yard cart to wireless controller. If you are using this upgrade an existing wireless controller it should be much easier but I was trying to upgrade a wired controller and it required downloading and using the VESC tool. There’s very little support online and none from Flipsky about how to configure this. Know what you are getting into and be ready to return …
