It's very comfortable although it's firmer than most couches I have sat on and it's heavy duty too. Once you install all the legs/feet then you place it wherever you want and that's it. I have mine on carport and it is very sturdy and doesn't move when you flop down on it. It's securely in place if that makes sense. Everyone that sees it loves it. It will "command" your room's attention too. I would buy it again of course. It does take a while to get it so when you order it, be patient. It's well worth the wait too.
