Not because of quality issues but because my husband wanted some too. Perfect for salad dressings or any small sides you need to take with your lunch. Easy to clean and seem long lasting. I've had my first set for over a year now, with no signs of wear. Review: These little guys are SO cute! I am a big fan of Sistema containers and have quite a few of them, of varying sizes and colours. They are top quality and last for years = I have not yet had any of mine break or wear out - which sooner or later happens with the closing mechanisms of other brands I have purchased... These little screw top containers are just as good as the clip-on products. I love their size. They are perfect for when you only need a very small container. I use one of mine for my before-breakfast vitamins, to keep them separate from the ones I take later. And I use the others to hold, and store, different coloured tiny glass beads when I am making bracelets. I love the different coloured lids as I match them to their contents and can always find them at a moment's notice. They are also great if you peel too many garlic cloves - keeps them fresh in the fridge. There are thousands of uses and they are rather lovely to look at as well. I love that Sistema are not afraid to use colour in their products.
