Camping. I had been worried about whether sturdy enough but it seems to be. And works OK as an aid in getting up in front of the tent (we are elderly). Easy enough to open up, just use care to do it the right way so mesh ends up beneath the seat*. Not trivial to get folded up snugly enough to fit back into the bag. * A surprising number of people seem to be unable to figure out that if the mesh bag ends up on top of the seat, not a product defect, just reverse when putting it together. 50% chance of getting it right even if not paying attention. MAYBE the makers should include an explanation.

Need to be very careful prior to each use, as the 2 screws (key!) keep loosening. If a cap drops, the whole chair would come apart.

I hang this very lightweight stool over the handles of my rolling suitcase which I push along with one hand. The other hand is used for my cane. When I need to stop and rest, I have but to pick up this wonderfully light stool from the handle of the suitcase and open it up. Of all the various options I tried this one is the most comfortable for purposes of sitting. I wish it were a bit higher than it is but it is quite usable as it is. If one is going for a walk or going to be waiting in line and will not have a suitcase, this item can easily fit into a tote or back pack. For those who need a cane and/or need to rest frequently while walking, this stool is a very good option - inexpensive and lightweight. It is also reasonably comfortable in comparison to other options on the market. It is far more comfortable than canes with built in seats. It is a good choice where mobility is only mildly impaired or where mobility assistance is needed for only a short distance or short time frame. For moderate to significant impairment, it is hard to beat a rollator. I have one of these and they are wonderful. I did not want to take my rollator to the airport, however, since the airports provide wheelchair assistance for passengers who need this accommodation. That being said, this little folding stool will tide me over if I need to rest for short distances. I highly recommend it.
