I had to quit using this item for wet utensils because rust kept forming on the bottom. I removed it using CLR but didn't like having to use the CLR. I now have it attached to a basket under my kitchen sink and use it to store loose brushes that I clean with. **Q: Will chopsticks fall through the holes?** A: No. It is very convenient to wash chopsticks after we got this. **Q: Is this sus304 or sus316 stainless steel?** A: I don't know which. I know that it is smaller than what it looks. It's light weight, but I have had it for over a year and no rust, besides its size, it can hold a decent amount of silverware.
