I'm a size up from the small/ medium question. I had to decide between medium and large. I was right on the borderline and went up to large. I'm glad I did. In my experience the gloves seem to get tighter as I workout. Maybe there's more blood being forced into the hands fingers when I grip weights. I think the medium gloves would have restricted my hands and would not have been as comfortable as the large gloves are. **Q: I used these for months and never had a problem then I wash them in a bucket and now they stain my hands whats up?** A: This may sound counterintuitive, I don’t was my gloves. My hands don’t sweat a lot and, TMI, they are not malodorous. Perhaps a cycle in the washing machine and lay out until dry. Sorry I couldn’t be of help.
