This gimbal feels pretty sturdy. The HoHem App is responsive and connects quickly. Response between joystick and the gimbal itself is fast. The app offers numerous adjustments you can use for the gimbal i.e. speed control etc. Quick connect for securing your camera to the gimbal frame. You may have issues with how you charge your camera while in the gimbal like if the charge port gets blocked based on how you have to secure the camera to the gimbal. The only disappointing thing is that the listing says the gimbal is compatible with a Hero 3. Well that isn't entirely true. I definitely wouldn't have bought it if I knew you couldn't use the joystick on the gimbal to take photos or stop/start your video. The gimbal works with the Hero 3 but it cannot connect via bluetooth/WiFi to it to use all the features

Just received from the warehouse. I had this same gimbal before. Unfortunately, it broke during the plane's takeoff, meaning I couldn't film for my entire vacation. That's why I had to order this one again. It is a good product. The only downside is that it is not fully compatible with DJI, because the recording button does not work with the DJI Action Cam.

Good quality, I have another on for smartphones and they do work well. The challenge was having a cable to connect the gopro and internet the battery compartment needs to stay open and flop around. Settings for the gopro require touching the screen and most of the screen top is covered by the gimbal bracket so hard to access and the power button is covered by the mount so you have to take the camera in amd out to turn it on and off. Lastly is the controls take over the remote and phone app functions so you're limited in what you adjust on the gopro. If you're okay with all that, it's a good gimbal.

Hohem Pro4 grip and gimbal are better than I expected. Quality, weight, and build appear to be of excellent quality. Works as described and packed with useful features my failing GoPro grip did not have. I even tried the "Inception" roll and recorded a really cool video clip. I've had no issues with the bluetooth connection, and I also use the GoPro app on my phone to power on/off, change settings, on the camera, without having to remove camera from gimbal. Great value for this item, since it was half the price of the basic GoPro replacement, and has more features than I really even need or will use. So far, video clips I have shot are very stabile and smooth. Instruction booklet enabled fast setup and use, and there are even more tutorials available on Youtube. Found some additional information by viewing a few of them. I use an old GoPro Hero 5 Black camera and mounting on Hohem grip was not a problem and is fully compatible. Should work just as well with the newer GoPros. Read and use the manual, be patient, and the learning curve should be short. If you have an older GoPro like I do, make sure you order the correct Pro4 by reading the compatible camera list carefully. Sturdy case and cables included with the grip.

My initial review was very positive but after using the Hohem this is my current update. 1) It will only house the go pro, no media mods, no 3.5mm audio adapters, just the camera. 2) The balancing is done through their app. Very quirky and difficult to understand but with some work you will figure it out. 3) If you're walking and moving with multiple angles (which is why you use a gimbal in the first place) this gimbal will alter the orientation of the setup to upside down and vice versa which makes the whole experience one of constant adaptation. 4) The bluetooth connection to the go pro is off and on. At first it was ok but over a few weeks it started getting fussy and over this last weekend it completely shut off the bluetooth capability. Every troubleshooting reset I tried failed to restore the "green light" connection aspect. 5) I returned the gimbal today to Amazon 6) If you are an event shooter with multiple stops, starts, manipulations, overs, unders, back, forth etc. this gimbal is not built for speed. It will eventually shut down on you. 7) If you are a casual say travel vlogger etc. this gimbal could work just fine. The overall smoothness is good and its a good accessory for your go pro......but any 8 hour event shooting etc. is not recommended. Use it tenderly and it could be ok.

Had problem after problem with this stabilizer. I read the manual then watched youtube tutorials. Was able to offline calibrate it just fine. But could never get it working after multiple hours. Dealbreaker issues: * It only turns left half the time. And usually half the speed of turning right. * After connecting to the GoPro wirelessly, it cannot start / stop the shutter. * Most app features do not work on latest andriod, including updating firmware. Through the app itself I could not control any of the moment, and funny enough only the shutter. So between using the app and the gimbal at the same time, it was almost usable. Except not able to turn left of course. The overall construction actually seemed well made. And I wouldn't normally even want to use the app with it. However I'm guessing to work with GoPro 11 it needs to update the firmware, which didn't work for me. (It does take a special mode to try and do by holding mode and power button until both mode and bluetooth light are on. I took the screenshot in that mode, and did give the app full permissions. I saw the the same missing versions on that page when not in firmware update mode.) I'm returning this. Maybe version 5 will work out of the box with the GoPro 11.

Excellent gimbal stabile easy to use and even the app is smooth and works great. I got this and used it with my osmo 5 pro. It fits on the gimbal location and works great the only hangup is that you can't use start stop with dji or other cameras that I have found. Not a bad thing just have to work around it. But the gimbal itself the battery lasts longer than you would think much more than I thought. The remote controls for go pro cameras that have that feature. Excellent controls. I found this to be a great value the stability pays for itself in the footage you will get. Take some time learn the controls and off you go its that easy. It will definitely improve the video quality of your footage with an action camera. Does not disappoint.

Great value for money, well packaged, comes with needed cables, carry case, and easy mounting for DJI Action 6 plus others. A quality product with quick & easy setup, mounting and pairing with smartphone and camera. All 3 or individual axis control with axis lock, smooth slewing using auto or manual axis adjustment. Professional movement during recording of walking, stair climbing and hiking. Purchased based on YouTube reviewers and I would recommend or purchase a second unit for multi camera setups.

Dopo 8 giorni mi hanno comunicato ti averlo ricevuto e di organizzare la spedizione del sostituto asap. Sono fiducioso, sembrano molto professionali. AGGIORNAMENTO2 Il servizio di supporto è stato impeccabile. Dopo il primo contatto, in 14 giorni ho ricevuto un nuovo Gimbal che dalle prime prove funziona perfettamente. A mio giudizio la cosa importante è l'efficienza del servizio di supporto. Torno a dare 5 stelle.

O produto funciona bem, todavia a maneira de conectar a alimentação da gopro via cabo USB não é das melhores, principalmente se desejar que a câmera fique virada para cima.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Für meine Action und Sport-Video Drehs, brauchte ich ein funktionelles Gimbal welches zu 100% kompatibel mit meiner Hero 9 ist. Als Limit habe ich mir ca. 100€ gesetzt, da mir die Halter regelmäßig kaputt gehen (was aber an meiner Nutzung liegt :-D Bislang bin ich mit dem Gimbal äußerst zu frieden. Das Handbuch ist zwar etwas schlank gehalten, was die Informationen betrifft, jedoch ist vieles selbst erklärend. Gimbal + Hero9 +Hypersmooth klappen super in Kombination. Meine Aufnahmen sind mehr als Flüssig und sehen echt klasse aus. Das Menü sowie die Einstellungen sind ebenfalls selbsterklärend. Die GoPro lässt sich direkt mit dem Gimbal koppel, sodass aufnahmebutton usw. direkt am Gimbal gesteuert werden. Der Gimbal selbst wird in einem passenden Styropor-Koffer geliefert, in welchem jedes Zubehörteil seinen passenden Platz hat und beim Transport nicht beschädigt werden kann. Der Griff liegt gut in der Hand und lässt sich Problemlos mit einer Hand Steuern. Die Akkulaufzeit ist ebenfalls gut. Mit einer vollen Ladung komme ich knapp 2-3 Tage hin. Ist für mich mehr als Akzeptabel. Die Servos arbeiten flüsterleise und geben weder Geräusche noch ein Kratzen von sich. Für meine Zwecke hat sich die Anschaffung mehr als gelohnt. Mit einem hochpreisigerem Gimbal würde ich jetzt keinen überzeugenderen Benefit sehen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a reall good quality gimbal and it works pretty flawlessly. First setup wasn't straightforward but we got there in the end, but once setup the difference it makes to video quality on the move is incredible. The handle feels comfortable, there are several controls at your fingertips to adjust the direction and tilt and it comes with a tripod if you want to set it up in a fixed position and let it track. Price is fair, quality is great and it works brilliantly.
