But this one aggravated me enough I felt the need. I have bought approximately 13 starters and alternators from DB electrical over the past years, I knew of them and shop with them before they came to Amazon. I was always pleased with the fact that it was a new starter or alternator and no core charge and they seem to build a quality product. So when the starter seem to be going bad and my 2007 LTR 450 I looked to see if DB had moved into the ATV market. I was really pleased to see they had. I ordered my starter installed it and got about three and a half months of good quality starts. Approximately four months after I bought it it was just dead. It stated it had a year warranty. I found them online called their warranty department before Christmas left them message and number, figured it was a holiday season so I'd give him a little bit of time. I called and left my name and number and message four more times before August...... As you can imagine I never got a response. Now that the warranty is gone and I can disassemble it, I found the bonding agent on one of the magnets had released. It showed considerable signs of moisture being inside, which is never good for bare metal or electrical current.As I stated before, I have bought numerous starters and alternators from them and they're all still going good. Maybe this four-wheeler is a one-off and none of the other ones they sell will ever do this. I understand people assemble these things and sometimes things go wrong, but I have to say the lack of returning my phone call is probably what irritated me the most.Hopefully this is not indicative of the quality of product nowadays. Before this everything had been an awesome product at an awesome price, fast shipping, always as advertised. If the need arises to purchase from them in the future I probably will at least one more time. and honestly aside from this one starter it's hard to find a better product, just beware their warranty and customer service on warranty matters is going to be non-existent. Had to buy another brand, installed it four wheeler fired on first crank. For the cost it's definately one of those hidden deals. If i had any gripe at all it would have been nice to have the bolt that attaches the battery cable to the housing.
