I ordered multiple insertion devices and out of the ones I ordered, this was the only one that worked. It turned what was before sometimes an hour long procedure to insert my lenses (If I got them in at all that day), into minutes and 100% success rate each time. I do NOT use them for removal, as that has never been an issue for me to do with my fingers.Great product. It is not an appropriate or useful tool for soft contact lens removal. It is too thick and does not allow for easy use. I tried it and my eye was sore for days because I made so many attempts at grabbing the contact; the white part of my eye became red---and I was NOT applying lots of pressure!I gave the product ONE star because I understand what the developer was attempting to create. So, their intentions were good, however, it DOES NOT WORK well. I believe it ( because of the HARD PLASTIC) will cause more damage for contact lens wearers--over time, it will cause damage to the eye. After fumbling with this I found it was much easier to insert and remove contacts without it and now I am use to it.*If your having enough trouble with putting in your contacts that your considering pursuing this I'd advise against it. There are youtube videos to show you how to put them in, which was helpful to me beyond my initial trip to the optometrist and you can practice touching your eye to minimize your blinking reflex. However, the most important detail that took me a while to realize is that you have to place the contact on your pupil. May seem silly to some of you, but since it's difficult to insert it I would try to look to the side and insert the contact since they reposition themselves into the right place.
