I had it for years but hardly used it because the lighting was just too weak. After I tried this one I threw the other one out. Granted there is a little bit of a blue hue to the lighting but it's very bright, which I love, and I like that it's adjustable. I actually like the fact that it's not real glass so I don't have to worry about it shattering if broken, yet the reflection is nice and doesn't seem cheap. I saw other comments saying that the materials feel cheap. I could see why people say that because of the light plastic but I can't say it necessarily feels cheap. If anything I like the fact that it's lightweight so I can easily carry it around if I want to check my face in different lighting scenarios through the house. I love the fact that it works with batteries so I don't have to worry about a cord being drug around. I can't attest yet to how long the batteries last, not that it really matters to me because I put rechargeable batteries in it any way. I noticed the price fluctuates on this product, and honestly I would wait until it's down closer to $20 vs closer to 30, because that's probably about what it's worth, but it would be a $20 well spent. The only issue I had was that the led lights had a blue tint and sometimes made it hard to correctly color match. Also, I noticed corrosion leaking out of the back battery door but that was from directly spraying wonder on the mirror to clean it, DO NT DO THAT! Made sure batteries were good and properly installed. Didn't work. Returning immediately. UPDATE: The seller got in touch with me about my 1 star rating and sent me a new mirror and it worked. I was impressed that the seller reached out and made it right.
