Makes a s difference in oral hygiene.
Dentist recommended! I use warm water and I don't rush, going inside and outside of each tooth. Usually need to refill the water twice, at least. Good product. Am happy with the results, so is my dentist and the hygienist. Smiles all around.

My new favorite water pik!
I love it! My water pick was leaking so tossed it and decided to try a Philips Pik this time. I have been using it for3 days now and must say I like it! It is cute and compact, not taking up much space on my bathroom counter. It is much quieter than the water pick brand. It only came with 2 attachments for flossing but a new kind that offer a cross wave of water that I like. It cleans my teeth well, I floss after use to test how well it did and nothing appears to be left behind. It seems to be a terrific, durable, reliable water pick. I would definitely recommend this, way more than the waterpik brand.

Quiet, good pressure. Don't use the stop button on the handle and it will last.
We love it! Quiet, good pressure, convenient and effective. **CAUTION:** Do not use the stop button on the handle—it blocks flow, causing the pump to stall at maximum pressure, which forces water back into the motor. This likely causes premature failure. This product uses safe 24VDC near water. Our previous brand was loud and died within months. This unit stopped working after six months of heavy use. I disassembled it and found the motor stuck (as others reported). After applying WD-40, then proper lubrication (3-in-1 oil for brass bearings, lithium grease for gears), it works like new again.

does a good job
I would advocate this product as an adjunct to normal brushing and flossing. I dont think it replaces either, but would help overall. It takes minute to get used to it and maneuver the instrument. You will make a mess of it the first few uses, then you get the hang. I like the adjustability, the east of use, and the overall function of the machine. It's not noisy. I do wish the cord was a foot longer as it is stretched to the max to reach my sink. I think the best thing about it is that it does a good job on the far back molars that are hard to get floss around. I like the pulsating feature with you can use as a guide tooth to tooth. I do find that I am not done using it when the reservoir runs out and I have to refill it. But that is just me. I also discovered that you do not want to use very cold water. Warm it a bit and it's much more comfortable. I like to add a capful of mouthwash to the reservoir water, remembering to fully rinse it out and run the machine until clear when I am done. My only concern is replacement heads. They are available on Amazon and the instructions say to replace them every 6 months. Other than that, I am pleased to add this to my routine of oral care.

terrible design and QC
I've had bad luck with Waterpik (who used to make an amazing product years ago), so decided to try one of these. With the 1st one the tip would not stay latched in the handle and that was within a few days of use. Everyone in the family has their own (different brands), so this was not a re-insertion problem. There is a tiny latch that just wouldn't hold and tip would pop out as soon as powered on. Generally liked the unit, so sent it back to unfortunately be land-filled and replaced by identical one. Second unit didn't have this problem, but noticed after a few weeks that there was always a puddle of water seeping out from under the unit- it is always leaking now. Empty reservoir or not, whatever is left in the unit is draining out when off. Also, it was very quiet when new (not that I cared), but is now quite a bit louder. Sounds like others are having better luck with these. Maybe I can find something made in Europe that will work properly and last more than a few months. It's unfortunate that these things have a planned obsolescence and are expected to maybe last the duration of the warranty, then tossed and repurchased. Good for them, bad for us. Update 09/05/23- well it lasted 9 months. After leaking all over the place and getting the 1st one replaced as defective, this one died. Won't pump anymore. Others seem to be having better luck, but ever since Philips bought the Sonicare brand, their quality has gotten worse (but I'm sure they made the stock go up!).

Clean And now on sale
Phillips is a good brand. Since I had the Sonic toothbrush, I decided to go with the flosser also. Using it is a learning curve. Most of the time, it's a wet experience, but you do get the hang of it. I started filling the water up past the waterline then leaving the lid to the water container off in order to floss my entire mouth in one pass. Another trick is to turn the device off by the handle until you get it in place inside your mouth. I still get my hands all wet, so I guess more practice will make perfect. I do wish the flosser would rotate, but you still manage. This unit was bought for my mother. In my own home, I have a portable water flosser which is by far much easier to use but the pug in a wall water flossers are supposed to get your teeth cleaner, and it feels more powerful than mine. UPDATE: My Philips Power Flosser broke in March 2023 -- so we only had 4 months of use. The water would no longer go from the tank through the coil to the handheld wand. It broke after Amazon's replacement deadline. Amazon gave me Philip's, the manufacturer, to call. Philips asked me to try one measure with support on the line, but it didn't fix the unit and instructed me to take a screenshot of my Amazon invoice (which has the date I bought the unit, model number, method, and date of payment on it) to send back to Philips via an email given. I thought I was all set and waited for my replacement unit. Philips said it would take 7 - 10 days for a replacement water flosser. I thought the matter was settled on March 31, 2023. But! Suddenly on April 7, 2023, I received a follow-up email from Philips -- here's what it asked of me: "Kindly email us the back of all the official Proof of Purchase/Invoice/Recipes (in PDF file) and Photos of the item with the model number and serial number at the bottom of the toothbrush handle, so we can further assist you." I would have gladly complied had Philips 1st customer rep asked this me. But as I thought I was now just waiting for the new unit, I tossed out the broken unit. The lesson I learned was don't toss out a broken unit until a replacement unit arrives. But when I called Amazon to try to obtain other proofs of purchase to send to Philips, Amazon helped by giving me by a promotional credit to buy another water flosser, which I'm very grateful for -- I used it to switch to a Water Pik brand of water flosser. I still use my Philips Sonic toothbrush, but Philips may have lost me to their competitor, Water Pik Flossers. What a disappointing experience with Philips when a product of theirs breaks too soon after purchase.

Game changer for real
I love the water floss. This particular one has different modes and different pieces. I personally only use the flossing portion and it’s very efficient. Definitely runs out of water pretty quick, but it’s still powerful and effective. Highly recommend especially for the price.

Munddusche

Was split between this and other popular brand
I was not able to make up my mind between this and another popular brand. No regrets; it is quiet and does a great job of keeping my oral hygiene. I am at just level 3 on the water pressure level, and it is plenty strong to knock off even the toughest of nasty stuck between teeth.
