2000lbs Fishing Magnet

My family really enjoys using this fishing magnet. We haven’t found anything cool yet but the hunt is the most fun part and we’re doing it together so it’s quality time well spent. This thing is surprisingly strong. I do recommend buying a longer fishing rope for it so you have more line to play with. I also learned that this magnet is strong enough to remove the alarm sensors off clothing - figured this out on YouTube after Target didn’t take one off and it also didn’t alarm when I left.

Smaller in size than I thought but its very strong. Actually easier to throw and much better around rocks. We suck things out of the mud that our other two sided magnets miss. Highly recommend.

Used this a few times and it works as advertised, pulled a scooter from the lake that was in the mud, so yes, it has strong magnetic force. It is a fun way to enjoy the outdoors on a nice day.

Be careful with this one. It's a great magnet but it's so powerful that you could get a finger or a hand caught. The magnet will grab any ferris metal in range and your body part could be in the middle. But like I said, great magnet.

Okay, so I had this and loved using it but let my grandson use it and he lost it. One needs to be very careful when using it around anything metal because it is so strong, it won’t come off. He got it stuck on the bridge and then couldn’t get it off. I night buy another but will wait until spring.

Way smaller than what appears on Amazon and lighter than what I had thought it would be. Has a big screw at the bottom of the magnet which is disappointing I thought it would be just a solid magnet through and through. Disappointment, I’m sure it works fine but again not what I expected at all.

This magnet has been a revelation! The “360 degree” aspect has helped me haul in many items that other magnets without it wouldn’t have been able to. Just today, I fished for an hour and a half and came up with 200+ lbs of scrap metal. One of the items was a 20-something foot long steel cable that the magnet clung firmly to! For the price point, this magnet is fantastic and is a great “step up” from beginner to intermediate.

I'm sure the companies have some sort of lab test to give magnets their ratings, but your shouldn't put too much faith in those numbers when using in the real world. The rated pull should correspond to how strong the surrounding magnetic field is and yet ... this unit can grab a free nail about 2" away. It is not at all difficult to remove any object stuck to it, so I don't see where their 1320 lbs. pull rating comes into play. Maybe under 'ideal and specific' conditions, but in practical use it's just another magnet.

Excellent. I actually have it stored, holding rope and gear from the I-Beam in my basement. Only way to get it off is with a pry bar. It’s the bits, yeah.

Let me tell you about this guy. It’s small easy to carry but don’t let it get too attached to your car. This thing attracts to metal the way how Cupid attaches couples. Havent found any cons yet about this yet.

I purchased this magnet with 1 project in mind. I had a heavy chain to retreive from the bottom of a lake. I had my doubts that the magnet would work but boy oh boy was I wrong. This magnet hooked on and did not let go easily. I am extremely satisfied.
