It is also moderately thick and pasty, which made it difficult to apply without tugging on my skin. I had to be very slow and careful with the application. While the initial white cast eventually disappeared after about an hour (I used the recommended two-finger-length amount), but it lingered on my friend's facial hair. Though it's important to apply sunscreen to a beard for protection, this product is not ideal for that purpose, but seemed fine for the kids and I Review: Great for Rosacea - Having rosacea it is very difficult for me to use a sunscreen that not only protects my sensitive skin but doesn't break me out as well. Cotz is the only product I have found that does both. I am very pleased with this product - I use it everyday and have had no problems with it. As a matter of fact I have noticed my skin isn't even as red as it used to be so I believe it is helping my skin as well as protecting it. I use it under my makeup and have even been complimented on my skin...I will continue to use it.
