I bought one of these to go under a new suit-stand desk and is the perfect size to fit a 12-way power extension block. Yes, I have a lot of things to plug in! Access to the cables is made easy using the design of this item, and because of the generous height this gives between the shelf and the desk, I can fit some of my taller power adapters without any issue. The build quality is very sturdy, so no worries about this bending or collapsing under the weight of a lot of cables. Installation was really easy using the supplied screws, and the guide holes for drilling, in the shelf itself, means you don't need to faff around trying to line up the two brackets. My desk is 25mm thick, and the supplied screws are the perfect length for this. My previous desk had a hollow top, and I don't think mounting it on that would have been as sturdy because of the thin veneer of the desk itself, so a solid desk top would give best results for a solid mount. I haven't yet used the supplied cable ties, but I will once I've finalised the position of all the cables. It's great that these are included. Overall, I'm really happy with this item, would buy again and would recommend!

Very handy! Simple and functional, what more can you ask for? The reason I picked this one over other options is that I was so impressed with another product I purchased from the same company (PC holder). And the delivered again. Very happy with this Cable Tray. I also love it comes with a lot (A LOT!) of cable management fixtures. Hat off!

Clear instructions, easy to fit, sturdy, space for Apple plugs, discreet. Very happy.

Doesn't come with screws, or at least mine didn't but that's not a big deal, easy to install as the tray has 4 small holes on the bottom of it which I used to align the screws for the brackets with the holes on the tray . Pop one side in put in your cables and then flap up the tray simples, now under my desk looks clear of clutter, good quality item

I absolutely love this tray. It holds everything securely. I threw my chunky Brennenstuhl power strip in there and it fits like a glove. If you want a setup that lasts and looks professional, get this tray and a good German power strip. 10/10

Happy with this. Not dead straightforward to fit but trying to do it in the dark under a cramped desk won’t help. This provides good cable management for the space I’ve got with a LOT of wires.

Love this! There’s strangely not a lot of cable solutions this large where you can fit a large extension lead etc. It feels really sturdy and easy to open either side to adjust your cabling. Completely hides your cables and I’d recommend it particularly for larger, deeper desks!

Da die Kabelwanne für mich ihren Zweck erfüllt und ich so nett angeschrieben wurde, spendiere ich dem Team von Ultimate Setup ein wenig Zeit: Die Fertigungsqualität und Stabilität der Kabelwanne ist für die intendierte Nutzung vollkommen ausreichend. Abrieb oder Schmutz habe ich nicht erkennen können. Ist mir aber grundsätzlich auch egal, da ja nur Kabel verstaut werden, die ich im Anschluss für lange Zeit nicht wieder anfassen werde. Die Montage mit der integrierten Bohrschablone ist denkbar einfach. Damit die Schrauben, welche tatsächlich von minderer Qualität sind, beim eindrehen nicht brechen, empfiehlt es sich - gerade bei härterem Holz - vorzubohren. Ich habe die beigelegten Schrauben dennoch genutzt, da sie nun mal da waren und - sobald sie eingedreht sind - auch ihren Zweck erfüllen. Die Vielzahl der Aussparungen ermöglicht verschiedene Möglichkeiten zum Verstauen und Befestigen von Steckerleiste, Kabeln und Netzteilen. Der Abstand zur Tischplatte reicht für den üblichen Kram vollkommen aus. Wäre dieser größer, würde die Kabelwanne irgendwann auf den Knien aufliegen und es sähe deutlich bescheidener aus. Apple-Nutzer, welche die klobigen Netzteile aufgrund der Bauhöhe nicht unter bekommen, können mit Kabelbindern arbeiten und das Netzteil irgendwo anhängen oder die Steckerleiste kippen. Ich denke es finden sich in jedem Fall Befestigungsoptionen. Ansonsten würde ich auch mal an Apple schreiben, da die Bauform der Netzteile wirklich bescheiden ist. Die Wanne lässt sich beidseitig leicht einhängen, was aus Sicht des schieren Gewichts gegenüber den einseitig montieren Wannen ein Vorteil ist (man beachte die Physik: Hebel / Drehpunkt). Das leichte Einhängen kann aber auch ein Nachteil sein, da man sie folglich auch unbeabsichtigt beim Beladen auf der anderen Seite aushängen kann. Aber mit ein wenig handwerklichem Geschick sollte das das wohl machbar sein. Wenn die Wanne hängt, dann bleibt sie in jedem Fall an Ort und Stelle. Das Zubehör ist für mich insgesamt zu umfangreich und bedeutet daher auch viel Müll. Hilfreich sind sicherlich die Kabelbinder (Qualität gut) und die Klettverschlüsse. Die selbstklebenden Kabelführungen möchte ich an meinen schönen Nussbaum-Tisch nicht verarbeiten. Auch den Bohrer kann man einsparen, da, zur Einmal-Verwendung gedacht, auch dieser nur unnötig Müll erzeugt. Ein vernünftiger und scharfer 2 mm oder 3 mm Bohrer kostet im Eisenwarenhandel 1 EUR, ist hochwertig und kann wiederverwendet werden. Aber das ist sicherlich ein Phänomen unserer Zeit: Der Wunsch nach der All-In / Silbertablett-Lösung. Neben dem ubiquitär vorherrschendem China-Müll, glaubt man der Wanne gerne, dass sie "designed und engineered in Germany" ist. Obgleich auch bei diesem Produkt eine kostensensitive Produktion in fernen Länder zu vermuten bleibt. Ob aber all die "Sparfüchse" unter uns auch bereit wären für mehr Qualität mehr zu bezahlen, bleibt fraglich. Ich würde mich grundsätzlich freuen wieder mehr "Made in Germany" zu kaufen und dafür gerne auch ein paar Euro mehr ausgeben. Insgesamt eine funktionale, gut montierbare Kabelwanne, die meine Zwecke vollkommen erfüllt. Bzgl. des Preises in Ordnung, da ja auch das Team Ultimate Setup ein wenig Marge machen muss, um weiterhin zu bestehen. Leben und leben lassen! Cheers!

Installazione velocissima. Si può montare ovunque nella scrivania grazie a tutti gli accessori in dotazione che ti permettono di poterla fissare ovunque. La consiglio assolutamente per chi come me doveva nascondere le montagne di cavi visibili sulla scrivania

The tray accommodated a laptop charging brick, an extension board and a network drive. I wish it was a bit broader to make it a bit easier to keep wider extension cords and or to plugin bulkier plugs.
