Yes, there are repeat patterns in different colors, but as any experienced bearer knows, sometimes one particular change of color can inspire a different pattern of your own to be created. The different colors give one a perspective of what can be done . I have been able to totally come up with a different look with the same pattern but by using, say, neon beads or lusters, than opaques or the colors called for. Not only that, but bits can be taken from one pattern and joined with others to create something completely new and exciting. I didn’t find the patterns antiquated or simplistic as one beader reviewed. I sell at concerts and on line and find that a lot of these patterns are exactly what people are looking for, especially the hippie/bohemian crowd.
