This case does the job!
I'm usually too lazy to review products, but when a product is either outstanding or really sucks, I leave a review. I regularly walk or bike to work with a backpack, and I'm an avid hiker on the weekends. I am also a mountain rescue volunteer. I got this case for my Galaxy S23 Ultra phone. The Ultra is a bulky phone and mine has a Casebourne shock-proof case on it. I can fit the phone and case into this case just fine. It is a snug fit. The case attaches securely to my backpack strap. The flap completely covers the phone. This is important because when you are hiking, you often take your pack off and set it down. The pack strap might flop over or the pack may fall over from the position where you set it and you don't want your phone exposed when that happens. It is also protected when you're bushwhacking through heavy brush like I often am. Your phone is more protected in this case than it is in your pocket and it is very accessible when you need it for a photo or to look at a map. I have used this back and forth to work and the gym for a couple weeks or so. I have used it on 4 hikes I believe. All 4 of those hikes included some off-trail bushwhacking, and two of those hikes were on mountaineering routes in snowy and rocky areas. One of those hikes included some glissading down snowfields. I have also used it on one search and rescue mission where I was off trail and hiking up a rugged canyon in the middle of the night up and over waterfalls. So far this case has worked perfectly. I attached it to my strap using the plastic clasp it came with. I was a bit concerned about the clasp getting bumped open because it seems theoretically possible. But even in the open position, it doesn't easy come completely off the pack strap. But I used the velcro strap that came with the case to secure it at a second point for good measure. There is one more thing I might do to make the attachment extra bomber. You could take a short piece of paracord tied to form a loop. Then girth hitch one of the sewn loops on the back of the case. Then attach the other end of the paracord loop to a carabiner clipped to an attachment point on your pack strap. That would be an additional backup if the equipment failed and your phone and case fell off. But that being said, it has performed flawlessly in some pretty aggressive conditions so far.

Perfect for Hiking
Great quality and easy to use! I used to keep my phone in my pocket when I go hiking, but this pulls the phone up to where I can easily access it whenever I want to take a picture or track my hiking progress. The product is well made and I love the extra elastic strap it comes with to keep it stable on my backpack strap.

Phone protection from walkibg
My phone fits easily into it. It's tight at first but over time has loosen up. Very secure.

Awesome backpack accessory
I'm a mountain biker and I've been struggling on how to carry my phone on rides. For years I was putting it inside my hydration pack but it's a pain to get the phone if I need to take a quick picture for a trail report or to look at a trail map on a trail I've never been on before. Also, with the ice in the water reservoir it would cause condensation all over the phone. I then tried using a SPIbelt that I used to use for running but the phone felt vulnerable and, sure enough, I had a crash and landed right on the phone breaking the screen. I started searching around for a holder that would attach to the strap of my pack where the phone would be the least vulnerable and easy to access and I came across this gem. I've been using it for three weeks now and it's been fantastic. The phone is easy to access, very protected from crashes and debris (mud, water), and I do not notice it at all while riding. I thought that possibly the phone would bob around while riding over rough terrain (rock / root gardens), but there has been absolutely no issues at all. I also worried that it might not fit on the short straps of my small hydration pack (2 liters) but it fits with no problem. I also have to give a big thanks to the seller of this item as they included a second plastic clip to fasten the bottom of the pocket to the backpack strap. Without that I definitely would have had to find a way to secure the bottom because it would definitely flop around with no bottom clip. My phone is a OnePlus 7 Pro which is one of the larger and heavier phones out right now so I would think this pocket could hold any phone on the market as of this review. My phone dimensions are 6.40 x 2.99 x 0.35 inches (162.6 x 76 x 8.8 mm) and it weighs 7.27 oz (206 g).

It’s overkill for being a phone holder
It holds my phone well enough but it’s just too bulky. The material is really thick and heavy. There is too much Velcro so I just tucked the flap into itself and then it’s a perfect fit for my iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 7. I really appreciate that I can conveniently hold a phone on the front of my pack but I probably wouldn’t recommend this specific holder. There’s gotta be a more streamline, efficient one.

Great Phone Holster
This cell phone holster is tough and closes securely. The clip that fastens it to a strap looks like it might open when you don't want it to, but I haven't had any problems with it. It clamps nice and tight to my backpack shoulder strap. I like it better than the Timbuk2 case that it replaced, which tended to slip down the strap and the hook and loop wasn't as strong.

Great for hiking
I've just completed 2,000 hiking miles in about 9 months with this little guy, and it's been great. Sure, I look like my dad with a dedicated cell pouch, but having my phone in easy reach but generally protected from the elements is worth it. A few things: 1. This fits fine on the strap of a short woman's backpack. I actually bought it because the waist belt pouches on women's packs are so bloody small that I was tired of wrestling to get my phone or garmin out. 2. It won't protect from potential water damage in an absolute downpour, but it offers enough protection for a typical rainstorm. 3. The small size is pretty small. My 5.9 inch phone has a bit of room to spare, but not much. Definitely glad I bought this, and I just bought another for my new pack

Pretty good with one minor issue.
I got the Large Red version. I have a Note 10 plus with the Otterbox symmetry case on it. Phone fits perfectly with it. The one thing i dont like about the pouch is the amount of velcro on it. It should be half or less and it would be perfect. Might fix it myself but cutting some of the stitching and cutting it in half on the rough part of the velcro. And it came with additional velcro that you can use to keep the bottom of the puch attached to the strap or whatever you mount it too. So thats cool. Build quality otherwise is great. Heavy duty, stitching seems good, the clakit strap for the pack itself is good and strong it seems. Time will tell.

Algo incómoda
Materiales de calidad. La lengüeta resulta demasiado grande y rígida. Haciendo incómodo su uso.

Commuting game changer
My only niggle is it didn't come in blue to match my backpack 🙄 Fashion bitch aside, this is one of the most useful purchases I've made in a while. The clips are sturdy and it's not moved since I attached it to my strap across many commutes. It holds my phone in its case well, and keeps it within easy reach to change music, pick up work messages and use my e-ticket easily without needing my phone to be in my pocket (easy to steal or lose). Very happy with the construction, this is going to be with me a long time 😊

Perfect for the commuter on a bike
If you need somewhere safe and reachable for your mobile phone then use this. I keep an iphone 8 in here which is one of the larger sizes. Have never had this mini strap pocket fall off and the clip on it is extremely strong. Good shield against wet weather too.

Super Tasche
