As a complete novice it can be tricky to work with on first try but works great once you’ve got the hang of it and make sure you’re not letting it dry out (which can happen quickly). When I’m sanding down my dried finished product before firing, I make sure to keep the dust/ shavings, which I’ve used to make silver paste for repairs, details and filling in cracks.
