So for measuring general water quality, a TDS meter is not very helpful. Instead, it would be better to use more specialized tests to test for specific chemicals or metals, such as a chlorine colorimeter.

**Q: Is this compatible with the sf100 and sf220 filters?**
A: SF100 and SF220 are compatible with each other.  The Rejuvia HD (SF500) is not compatible with the SF100 and SF220 because the Rejuvia HD (SF500) cartridge is 25% larger and the case is different inside.

**Q: Will this remove salt from soft water?**
A: There is so little salt left in the water from a softener system that it doesn’t matter. The salt cleans the softener, it doesn’t soften the water.

**Q: If the SF220 replacement filter doesn't work fir this model, why does Amazon pair it to purchase together?**
A: Only the SFC400/SFC500 replacement cartridges will work on the SF400/SF500 Shower filter models.

**Q: What is the minimum pressure needed to use this filter**
A: The Uniform Plumbing Code indicates there shall be a minimum of 15 PSI residual pressure, after taking into account friction and other pressure losses. Without a filter, 15 PSI is not an acceptable shower, in my opinion. 
 So the question is very subjective. Some people may feel 30 PSI is acceptable, while others may feel 50 PSI is. 80 PSI is the maximum allowed.

المنتج جيد لا بأس به، أخذته على أنه من الأقوى للأسف لا يتوفر في الإمارات وإنما في أمريكا فقط، وأتمنى أن يتوفر أكثر لأن مياهنا بحاجة له قمت بقياس نسبة الأملاح فكانت بدون الفلتر 450 TDS، بينما مياه الشرب المفترة 104 وتمنيت أن يكون فلتر الدوش أقل من 450 كما ذكر بنسبة تقليل 50% للكلور، لكن لا توجد أي نسبة واضحة لتقليل الأملاح الذائبة. حالياً تحت التجربة وأتمنى أن يكون كما توقعته، وقد يكون هناك خلل في الفلتر رغم تركيبه بشكل صحيح، ولا يوجد أي إثبات على أنه يقلل الأملاح بالفعل. مع ذلك، أنصح المهتمين بتجربته ومراقبة النتائج بأنفسهم، فقد يكون مفيداً حسب نوعية المياه لديهم.
