Other brands this size/cfm equivalent are 25db. So, is this fan pretty quiet?** A: It is very quiet. I replaced the 80mm fan in my son's new Dell 8940 with this 92mm and it flows more air and is nearly silent. **Q: can i install this fan to nh-u9s cpu cooler?** A: It should work just fine. Noctua has excellent fans so I am not sure why you would want to replace it.
