Amazon takes a 15% "referral fee" on items over $10 (8% on items $10 or less). 85% of $129 is $109.65, almost exactly what you would pay on their site. Even when the price was slightly higher, their margins are hardly different for Schiit than if you were to buy it on their website. Plus, for the couple people saying "greed", it's not like they stopped selling it on their website. That's still an option if you want to save a couple bucks for slightly slower shipping. **Q: Is the optical jack an input or an output?** A: it's an input, I checked the manual **Q: would this be good for a sennheiser 6xx?** A: Yes, I run the 6xx's and it's fine. It's not super high power, but it's plenty to drive them. Far more than the standard headphone port provides. Generally speaking, I don't usually find myself going over 50% on the volume control, and it's plenty loud. **Q: Will this be able to power 250 ohm headphones?** A: It's fine - I run 300 ohm Sennheiser HD 6xx's, and it powers them just fine. I mean, it's far less power than a proper headphone amp matched for those headphones would provide, but they certainly still get loud. Originally used the Focusrite scarlett solo for a while, worked very well and produced clean sound. However, they were not rated for 250 ohm headphones. I had to turn the dial all the way up and sound was usually not loud enough for some applications; even when turning windows to max volume. The Schiit Fulla E easily uses USB-C to my computer and produces clean sound. Additionally, it produces a great amount of sound that I was originally looking for. Both pair very nicely.
