I've had other gel pak types that get frozen but still conform to the shape you need them to be, ie. Your forehead. This is like laying a 2x4 board on your head ### ⭐⭐ The outside is nice, the inside is not. *by N***A on Reviewed in the United States on 8 August 2021* The quality of the bag is very good and I have some older bags just like this one that have lasted for years. The only problem with the ones I got on this order is that the liquid/gel inside these bags freezes up solid and never really turns into a cold gel. It's just a solid brick. After a while, when it starts to de-thaw, it will get a little crunchy, but if your using this on anything that is bruised, it will hurt to use these gel packs. My guess is that they had a bad batch that does not have enough of whatever chemical is needed to keep the water from freezing solid.
