I understand that the tolerances of the relatively small bulb holder of the Singer machines require fairly well-made bulbs that work well with the tolerances required. I came across these bulbs in April 2026, which fitted fine, and I bought some more in August 2026 because they were a known quantity. Some sewing machine spare parts sites are selling suitable bulbs at £14 each, which makes these a bargain. As for working with this bulb, it is brighter, whiter, and thermally cool in operation. Singer, as a company, was limited in terms of the power of the original incandescent bulbs, which would have run hotter if they had fitted brighter bulbs. With LED bulb technology, this constraint no longer applies. Review: Good price and quality - These are exactly what I need for my vintage sewing machines. They are a good price and good quality. ## Features - ★ 【Compatibility】: LED bayonet bulb Ba15d 220V (2 contacts) is compatible with most brands - Singer, Pfaff, Brother, Toyota, Elna, Janome, etc. Please check the bulb size (Ø22x57mm) is compatible with your sewing machine before purchasing, thank you very much.
