Lifting fully assembled pole is tricky but I never felt it might break **Q: Can this tool remove coconuts from coconut palms efficiently?** A: yes, if you can position the saw blade correctly. **Q: Why does amazon advertise this item is corded electric if in fact is not?** A: Not sure why it’s advertised as being corded. It most certainly is NOT. But Amazon should offer price protection. *by J***F on April 11, 2022* This is a well made 26-foot pole pruner set. The included second blade was what set this item apart from the others. The 3-bolt attachment of the blade to the handle looks to be more secure than the 2-bolt system used in other pruners. The poles are a lightweight, sturdy resin material. The connectors at the ends of each section are threaded metal fittings & are well made; both the male and female ends are clean and sufficiently long enough to insure a good solid union. Just a few quality control issue to be aware of: first - there a 7 1-meter poles included, but they are 5 different lengths. The connectors are quality metal, fiitted securely to the ends of each section with 2 rivets, but the are some nasty sharp burrs on the inner side of the connectors - I had to clean them up with a half-round file. Have used the set to cut a dozen or more branches so far; ranging from 1 to 3 inches thick & from 6 to 20 feet high; and am very happy with the results. As sometimes happens on Amazon, you buy something & then within 3 to 4 days the price drops. This is the 2nd Amazon item in 3 weeks that has dropped $10 or more AFTER I've purchased it. Was told previously the Amazon does not do price adjustments. Raise my prime subscription, go into [sub]orbit, but don't give price protection?
