A: Yes, you can use your AF-DX lenses that you currently use on your D7500 on the Z50 with the FTZii adapter.

A: It will work with any lens with a F mount the issue is what or how the Lens will work you might have to use manual functions of the lens

**Q: What is the difference between this ftz ii and the original ftz adapter?**
A: The FTZ II and the older FTZ have the same technical specifications and connectivity 
The FTZ II was designed without the shoe adapter specifically for the Z9 camera to allow free access to the front control buttons
It is also slightly lighter

Does the job well enough. Some incompatibility with third party lenses like my Tokina 100mm Macro lens, but that is to be expected with an adaptor.
