However, it kept falling apart, even when adults helped him. For some reason the racer design (his first choice) just didn't have much "staying power". He didn't seem to mind and had fun with the construction. As the gift-giver, I was disappointed to see that his final race car couldn't do much but fall apart into two pieces. Lego is great, all told. I'm hoping that the stockier designs on this set will be more fun to actually play with when they are put together.
