The X7 ACCESS features 24 channels with a faster baud rate and lower latency thanks to its high-speed module digital interface. As with the rest of the ACCESS transmitters, it provides a secure and reliable link, along with wireless firmware updating making it fully compatible with our newest line of OTA receivers. The battery compartment now uses 2 18650 Li-Ion batteries and can be balance charged via the Mini USB interface.

Great radio
The setup and configuration might be a bit intimidating for beginners, but there's a ton of tutorials and documentation out there. Fully customizable at a relatively low cost. Highly recommended. I have two of these, one X9E and two X-Lite Pros.

Not worth it
Beware of the $60 unexpected customs fee you get stuck with on top of the cheap quality.

Good simple controller
There's no magic with FrSky, but the controller is good quality and works. In my opinion, their screen layout of OpenTX is very intuitive. The button interface could use a little work (press once to go to the next screen, but press 3x fast to go back... sometimes?)I now own four of these for different events. Athough my TX16S is a much better (quality, robustness, etc.) controller, I always go back to the Taranis - it's just easier, and makes sense. The long toggle switches are easy to break, so be careful - but they are also easy to replace, so don't be too concerned.

Junk
Another piece of Amazon junk. In order to get into the battery compartment I had to use a butter knife to pry it open. It was so hard to open, I thought it was going to brake the door trying to get it open. The battery that the frsky recommends for the unit would not fit into the compartment right, it kinked the wires in such a way that eventually it would break the wires or the connector that you pug the battery into. Tried to bind the controller to my drone. No luck there either. After 12 hrs of tying to bind it to a drone I gave up. I do not recommend this so called controller to anyone.
