The teleprompter places your camera behind its beam splitter by manipulating a camera base-plate with two heights along a roughly foot-long track. You put your camera at either height on the base plate and then slide it into position behind the glass and under the duvatine-style back cloth. The only limiting factor would be if your lens was too long, but a 16 should be fine. PS - It’s a pretty good unit. Some of the screws are a little wonky - I bought a replacement for one that’s working fine; but for the price it’s hard to imagine anything working half as well. I mean, jury-rigging an iPad into a teleprompter would have been unthinkable 20 years ago. I like the unit and recommend it. **Q: Does this work with canon lens EF 24mm ?** A: yes **Q: Does this one work with the 12.9" iPad?** A: The $399 Ultralight does not.
