A: Yes, you can do it.

**Q: Does this protect from UV? What about car head and taillight s?**
A: I use this on my waverunner to protect corrosion on my block due to the elements of salt water living by the beach.  Uncertain about UV but this works great for the heat elements and salt corrosion in Florida - of all brands this works the best for me.

**Q: Can you use it on a black painted harley Davison motor for shine and protection**
A: This product will not hurt the paint on your Harley, This product is design for the engine, frame, rubber hoses, cables, will help keep clean and protect for corrosion and rust.

This is a great product. I always keep it handy. I used it on my boat engine and any metal parts. Helped keep rust out. I also used it for my gym equipment which I keep outside ( under roof). Highly recommended to keep rust away from any equipment/engine/bolts.
