I would manually do a bed mesh and it worked, but would take forever after every print. With the CR touch, it runs before every print and gives me reliable first layer adhesion. It came with 3 different brackets for the different ender 3 models. The bracket fit perfectly on my ender 3 V2 and really upgraded the printer. The probe is made out of metal so it should last quite a while. Installation wasn’t hard, as I just had to connect the wiring to the mother board and connect it on the bracket.
