Id use this for squats, so Im worried it wouldn’t stay still** A: Not necessary, you can put some weights like dumbbell/kettlebell/weight plates on it to stop moving, then you can use it for what ever you want.. **Q: Does this have to be bolted down or can I just toss a weighted sandbag on it?** A: I don't have it bolted. I just place a dumbbell on the platform, it works fine. I used a 85lbs/95lbs.
