This is one of the most comfortable, light, and relatively weatherproof jackets I've ever owned. 40 degrees with 20+ wind gusts all day this weekend and I was fine the whole time, even after a light rain. Cant speak well enough on this jacket! The fit is perfect, I normally wear a large, and it seems perfect.

Get complimented often on the looks of this jacket. Reasonably warm too.

I'm somewhat of a jacket and outdoor gear junkie and I can say with confidence that you won't find a better heavy-duty full-zip sweater/jacket for this price. I have a ton of Arc'teryx, Patagonia, Outdoor Research, and many other boutique branded sweaters/jackets that are similar in design that I have paid wayyy more for and I find myself grabbing this one over the rest more often than I ever would have imagined. The men's large fits me very well (I'm 5'11", 185lbs, athletic build, and wear a 16.5" neck/34-35" sleeve dress shirt for reference). I have several Vortex shirts and other gear and the quality is top-notch on all of them. This is super comfortable and very warm yet breathes and stretches well due to the lighter (yet still tough) spandex-type material on the underarms and sides of the torso. The hood is very useful and not oversized like so many others, and the collar sits comfortably off of your face while still providing excellent wind protection when fully zipped with the hood down. The style looks cool as hell around town without screaming tactical Tim, but is very practical at the range or in the woods. BUY IT!

It's nice built good nice pockets but not very warm

Great materials. I love the fleece lined pockets. It it perfect for going out as it very nice and visually appealing. It is athletic cut to provide a overall slimming silhouette. I have to send it back for next size up. It fits true to size I just got a little over ambitious with my current weight loss journey. I honestly can say this may be my new favorite jacket. I honestly cant wait for the new one to be delivered. Im a long time fan of vortex. Just now introduced to their clothing.

This is my second Vortex piece of clothing, I previously purchased one of their zip-ups at Sierra for $40 and was amazed at the quality and fit. This is no different. For the money this fits better, looks better, and seems to have better construction than any of my North Face or Arteryx hoodies I've purchased in the past. Highly recommended.
