This is such a cute Christmas gift for all my friend’s daughters. The excitement of being able to read a new book everyday on the days leading up to Christmas makes bedtime in December a lot more fun! Definitely recommended for young readers!

Lovely calendar

I'm so happy with this purchase. Initially got the blue one (at a winners). My toddler and I loved reading most of the stories in that one (some were a bit too difficult, so I had to modify the language). After Christmas, I saw this one on sale and got it so January can be less gloomy. The stories in this one are even better, I believe. We love reading them together. I knew a lot of them (European classics), but was pleasantly surprised with some new ones. The language is way more accessible in this one (for a toddler, at least). Also, I love how well built the structure is. I always put the little books back, and my little one loves opening them over and over again. This element of surprise is very welcome. I'm sure I'll be able to use this book for a few good years, as my now newborn will be able to enjoy it soon enough.
