Gloves, hat, a small towel and water bottle can easily fit in the same capartment. There is a small hidden zippered pocket on the back of the bag for extras. I was expecting the material to be thin and flimsy, I was surprised to see how nice it was. It has a wide opening making it easy to get your skates inside. There is a liner inside to keep the shape of the bag and small feet on the outside bottom. The shoulder strap is comfortable or there is a thick handle to carry it along side. We purchased two bags, one is for my husband's skates size 11. They fit with no problem but there is less extra space for stuff. I would highly recommend this bag, it was just what I was looking for.

For the price this is an excellent bag. Fits my size 8 woman's ice skates with room to spare. Gloves, hat, a small towel and water bottle can easily fit in the same capartment. Very durable and holds so much! Bigger than I expected but in a good way, my daughter can fit her skates, guards, water bottle, a few pairs of gloves, soakers and her coat in the bag. (: Very pleased!
