I wasn't seeing more than 65w delivered, even though it claims to handle 100w. I asked the seller why that was and the response I got was: "The power data is pending by your PC input config.." I didn't like that answer, so I did some research and bought a USB tester to confirm (FNIRSI FNB58). The TLDR of it is that the adapter is working perfectly, although slightly misleadingly advertised as 100w, but my laptop won't pull more power from it despite it telling the laptop that 90w is available. On the USB side of the adapter it is requesting 20v at 5A from the USB PD adapter. You need to make sure your cable supports this as the ones that do have a chip inside them called an E-marker, which tell the USB PD adapter the volt/current they're rated for. There are USB-C cables that: - handle various wattages of power delivery or don't - handle 480 mbps or 5 gbps or 10 gbps or 20 gbps data rates - handle video All of those require different pins and depending on what cable you get, they might support different subsets of those features. If you want one that handles it all, look into cables from the brand Fasgear. On the Lenovo side of the adapter, the Lenovo device that it plugs into can tell how much power is available based on the resistance between the contacts. I measured 560 ohms, which is close enough to the 550 ohm spec that tells the device 90w is available. Thus, if you google for these adapters, all the ones that claim 100w are lying slightly as that's not a power level that Lenovo uses. And for some reason, 90w is available but my Lenovo Legion S7 won't pull more than 65w. It's basically only using it for the runtime power in balance or quiet modes (performance mode isn't available with this) and doesn't charge the battery unless it's sleeping or off. Review: Metal housing and LED to signify operation - Originally bought a different style of these adapters (ASIN: B08ND2XFJB). It works exactly like this one but is not only more expensive, but has less features than this "Tpenod" one. In my case it charges but only when the laptop is turned off. But i dont particularly fault the adapter since my W541 requires at least 135W power supplies or more to charge while it is on. When the laptop is turned off, it charges at 45W. I dont think even OEM chargers charge above 45W when laptops are off but i could be wrong. Again i have to re-iterate my Thinkpad W541 basically requires at least a 135W charger while its on to even begin to charge. Anyway if i had a laptop that could take a 65W or 90W charger and needed a USB-C PD adapter, this would be my ticket. -almost entirely made of metal, or at least it seems like it is -right angle so it doesn't easily snap off or put stress if i bend it in a weird way -LED indicator on both sides to show that it is working If you have a Thinkpad that needs a 90W slim-tip charger or less to start charging, i wouldn't hesitate to recommend this adapter. However if you have a workstation-class Thinkpad like a P51 or W541 or similar, that needs a 135W or more, then this won't charge it while the laptop is turned on and being used.
