Tea is Camellia. Rooibos is a so-called ‘Herbal Tea’ which is a misnomer. Herbal ‘teas’ (more properly called Tisanes) have no Camellia, no real tea. A rule of thumb is: If the label says “Caffeine-Free”, it is not Camellia, not true tea. Rooibos, though possibly quite a nice tisane, comes from a bush in Africa. The only two varieties of of Camellia are from China and India. I put the loose leaves at the bottom of the French press pour in 24 ounces of hot water, set a timer for five minutes, push the press and pour the tea into a half gallon jug that is half full of cold water.
