Works good
Has great sound. Apple CarPlay works well plays DVDs with Crystal clear picture. My only complaint is occasionally it will disconnect Apple CarPlay and you have to unplug your phone and plug it back in. Not a huge ordeal but great radio great sound quality too volume goes pretty loud.

Remember to wire the blue cable
AM has poor reception rendering this function useless. Other features (FM, Apple/Android play, Bluetooth,...) work fine as expected. UPDATE: I changed from 3 to 5 stars. The radio reception for AM/FM is great. Originally, I left out the blue cable thinking I don't need to connect it b/c I don't have power antenna. Actually, my car needs it to power the amplified antenna.

Fantastic Unit!
Coming from a double din that had served my well for 8+ years, this was a welcome addition when my previously mentioned head unit gave up the ghost. The ease of use and how quick it boots up and is ready to go is the feature I like the most!

Nice radio, but not what was advertised
Two parts to this review - 1st, I ordered and the invoice reflected, a KW-660BT, but they sent a KW-V66BT. I'm having difficulty finding out the difference, as the specs are the same and they are often mentioned together. I see posts out there about the V66BT being made with less expensive components, perhaps for a different market. Way back when, I remember learning that the Cannon digital camera I was trying to buy was going to take so long because it was coming from India or China (I can't remember) where Cannon sold a lesser version that they wouldn't import to the states, and that's why it was so much cheaper than the US version. I'm wondering if that's the situation here. Where I do see the V66BT for sale, it is cheaper than the V660BT, and I paid more for what I assume is the better product. 2nd, on to the radio itself. I'm quite happy with the features and performance. I bought it mostly for the Android Auto functionality, and that's clearly smarter than I am. It's pure flippin' magic, and does exactly what I was hoping. Someday maybe I'll understand all that it can do. I'm running through stock speakers so far, so I can't really address sound quality. My history with JVC has been positive, and I'm confident that the head won't be the limitation on the sound quality. So, a very nice radio that I'm (mostly) happy with. I'm not confident that I understand the difference between the two models, so I can't tell if this was a bait-and-switch or not. Hopefully this lasts as long as the V660BT would have.
