I originally got this collar for one of my dogs, instead I gave it to my mother who just got a puppy. I thought it looked so cute on her dog, "Oscar". She did not seem to mind it on his neck. It did not seem to heavy nor did it irritate his neck. When my my took him out for a walk the collar seemed to stay on, even when he was pulling. I picked the small and brown collar, Oscar is a black and brown dachshund, I thought he looked so cute in this genuine leather brown collar. I wouldn't exactly consider this to be comfortable like the title claims due to the leather being kind of stiff. If the leather was softer then I'd call it comfortable but to my dog, I'm sure he couldn't care less. I'll update later on how it's held up.
