It does take some care to apply it perfectly but you can easily pull it back without a leftover mess and reapply. The skin is cut pretty much to the millimeter so it's a good fit. It does take some care to apply it perfectly but you can easily pull it back without a leftover mess and reapply. It comes with side and front pieces as well but I just used the back ones and it worked out great.

This is an amazing accessory for my Surface Pro 7! Easy to install and the black matte looks really good. Precise cut outs and provides all 4 sides with protection. Also, the thickness of the back skin diminishes the heat that the Pro 7 gives off so it is easier to hold in tablet mode.
