We do store it inside (garage) but the plastic piece that keeps it straight broke off. We were able to keep using it, until the habdle spring eventually broke. We ordered again because, even if we have to buy once a year, it's still so much more convenient than using a shovel! I use it and so does my son. Im 5'5 with short arms and he's 5'9 with long arms.
