How much is hanging down in the 'up' position?** A: If rolled up completely, about 4". It is manually rolled by hand holding the panel in the middle and rolling upward. If I had known the quality prior to purchase I would have paid more and bought a better product. **Q: Will this work for an gazebo?** A: There really great. Gives much privacy. Good quality. Yes it will work for a gazebo. **Q: I"M confused , is this 5x5 or 6x5????????????** A: That is difficult to answer since I ordered two 6x5 and only one was 6x5. The other fell a foot short even though it said it was the same size. **Q: Will this work for an awning?** A: I don't think it'll be sturdy enough, fabric is thin, fine when just hanging. I guess you could frame the sides with 1x1 pieces of wood, but you'd be better off (cheaper) just buying an already made awning.
