I combine it with Vitamin C serum, Retinol, and Niacinamide for better & brighter results. Does not irritate my skin at all. Skin did appear brighter and some of my dark spots faded (not disappeared) but lightened. It absorbs well when used alone. It’s not greasy at all. Overall, it performs as it should. If you want greater results, use a product infuser with red light therapy-they’re pretty cheap since there are so many on the market & the results are phenomenal. I found that any alpha arbutin product works best if used every night NOT DURING THE DAY OR EXPOSED TO THE SUN and in combination with vitamin C.
