The handles are longer so this feature may enable shoulder carry with narrow loads. But the handles are attached at the top of the bag, not lower along the sides, so that they will interfere when you attempt to load and unload your purchases. The plastic used to make the fabric may be recycled. This seems apparent because I noticed the product's excessive weight. A typical plastic grocery bag weighs about 3 ounces, while this model feels very heavy and in fact weighs close to 6 ounces. This isn't much but if you have to lug a half dozen around, it'll start to give you tennis elbow! Also the sewing is poor quality. The inner corners of the bag are replete with loose threads that simply demand to unfurl. That means the bag probably will have a shorter useful lifespan.
