The only thing I did differently was use carriage bolts because I mounted it to the bottom of my bumper and didn’t want the bolt heads to get snagged on the ground if it contacted. I flipped the bracket upside down and just mounted it that way. The kit comes w hardware to attach the plate to the mount, a metal sandwich plate to squeeze the plate and the bolts together which is nice for added support. Anodization looks good, fits the license plate perfect and has 2 different hole mounts for various plate sizes.
